Factions packshot image
Factions is a completely different style of MMORPG. Where most MMOs follow the same tried and tested pattern of pre-made, story-driven content. Factions strives to provide a completely unique experience. An almost completely untapped game play style in the Fantasy MMO genre.
Some "sandbox" games promise open-ended game play, only to disappoint the player with the lack of essential sandbox features like the ones explained below. Factions strives to appeal to the niche gamer who craves a more realistic open-ended fantasy MMO. It will not appeal to every joe schmo and their sister as mass market games attempt to do.
Factions allows the player to play whatever role they choose. Whether you are more interested in combat, crafting, faction and/or town management, building a business empire, or any combination of these things, you will be able to play exactly how you want to.

Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB Performance Review

Running a Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB to play Factions shows us that we expect it to get a very strong 200+ FPS. Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res.

At $0 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play Factions at a respectable 200+ frame rate on 4K Ultra.

The Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB along with the right system memory, 2GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a processor or better.

To summarise, this game runs easily using this graphics card at all resolutions. Factions gets 200+ FPS at 4K Ultra costing $0 per frame. But if that doesnt feel right for you then you can drop the graphics setting down to High for 200+ FPS costing $0 per frame. Otherwise you can get some great performance by moving down a resolution bracket to 1440p. 200+ FPS in Ultra 1440p costing $0 per frame or 1440p High gets 200+ FPS costing $0 per frame.
