Playing Dark Souls 3 on the GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB, which is a 6 year old graphics card will likely result in a passable 53 FPS. And those results are assuming a 1920x1080 screen resolution at High setting level.
Although Ultra 1440p might be a bit too much for this GPU, it would return 40 FPS on High graphics setting.
To summarise, you may be toying with the idea that a 1440p resolution could be achieved with this GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB graphics card, but in so doing you would have to drop the graphics settings to pretty Low according to our assessment. But let the Dark Souls 3 frame rate numbers decide and guide. 1080p Medium 78 FPS, 1080p High setting: 53 FPS, 1080p Ultra setting: 38 FPS, 1440p Low setting: 76 FPS, 1440p Medium setting: 59 FPS. Our Low vs Ultra analysis tells us that you would be better placed running this at 1080p, but at least you could still tinker with graphics settings for 1440p to perhaps be passable?
