Iron Fish

GeForce RTX 2080

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2080 Performance Review

Running a GeForce RTX 2080 to play Iron Fish shows us that we expect it to get a very strong 187 FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

At $13.10 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play Iron Fish at a respectable 61 frame rate on 4K Ultra.

The GeForce RTX 2080 along with the right system memory, 8GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a Intel Core i7-8700K 6-Core 3.7GHz processor or better.

To summarise, this game runs easily using this graphics card at all resolutions. Iron Fish gets 61 FPS at 4K Ultra costing $13.10 per frame. But if that doesnt feel right for you then you can drop the graphics setting down to High for 85 FPS costing $9.40 per frame. Otherwise you can get some great performance by moving down a resolution bracket to 1440p. 102 FPS in Ultra 1440p costing $7.83 per frame or 1440p High gets 143 FPS costing $5.59 per frame.
