Iron Fish

Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB Performance Review

The experience of playing Iron Fish through a 1 year old Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB is going to get a very strong 147 FPS. Those frames are achieved on Iron Fish when being played at 1920x1080 screen resolution and on High graphics.

As this is a relatively powerful GPU, especially when comparing it to Iron Fish rec requirements, it would make more sense if you pushed it up to 1440p or 4K, where even at Ultra 4K graphics settings the Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB will still get a solid 48 FPS.

To summarise, we are in the realms of who gives a crap, when looking at game hardware demands, because the Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB card will play Iron Fish at Ultra settings almost regardless of the screen resolutions. 4K Ultra will get 48 frame rate, 1440p can deliver 80 FPS, and the lower resolution of 1080p comes in at 105 frames per second. For interest the cost per frame rate would look like this - 1080p Ultra costs $2.66, 1440p costs $3.49 and 4K costs $5.81.
