Battle Rage: The Robot Wars packshot image
Take control of a giant robot and smash your opponents! Battle Rage is a third-person shooter with elements of a beat’em up genre that allows a player to control giant robots. Battles between the robots take place on carefully selected battlegrounds. A player can fight solo (versus one, two or three opponents) or in the team with one sidekick. Every machine has its own weapons (for melee and distance combat) and additional weapon types can be collected on an arena. The player can modify robot’s parameters in both the Single-player and the Multi-player modes to fit it’s possibilities to his/her own fighting style. During battles it is possible to use the special attacks (e.g. Vampire or Poison), power triangle (to choose between speed, power and armor), rush and rage modes. Also many new, powerful robots will wait for the player to unlock in the arcade mode.

Battle Rage: The Robot Wars

GeForce GTX 1060

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 1060 Performance Review

Viewing the performance found on the 4 year old GeForce GTX 1060 while playing Battle Rage: The Robot Wars we quickly see it can get a very strong 200+ FPS. With that performance recorded at 1920x1080 res when running High graphics.

As this is a relatively powerful GPU, especially when comparing it to Battle Rage: The Robot Wars rec requirements, it would make more sense if you pushed it up to 1440p or 4K, where even at Ultra 4K graphics settings the GeForce GTX 1060 will still get a solid 200+ FPS.

With a system housing a graphics card like the GeForce GTX 1060 and some 2GB RAM, we will see a strong 4K Ultra result in Battle Rage: The Robot Wars. Look for a processor like the Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz CPU to go with this setup and Ultra is a sure thing.

To summarise, GeForce GTX 1060 graphics cards can smoothly run this game, but what Battle Rage: The Robot Wars screen resolution would you like to run with? While you can get 200+ FPS with 4K Ultra you can increase your frame rate to 200+ FPS in Ultra 1440p and up to 200+ FPS with 1080p. Pricing this on a frame per frame around the graphics cards original price it will cost $0.31 per 1080p Ultra frame. This increases to $0.40 per frame at 1440p Ultra and even more with 4K Ultra at $0.68 per frame.
