Shadowrun Online packshot image
*This Game Is Currently In Early Access* The game will feature two major parts the action map, where you (and your friends) do missions from stealthily infiltrating a secret Renraku research facility to punching the lights out of a major Aztechnology outpost with guns blazing. Hacking, magic and gunfights are all part of that and will be done simultaneously (so nobody needs to go for pizza while your hacker battles Black ICE for two hours).
The second part will be the legwork and mission preparation. This will happen on a city overview map, where you can try and use your contacts, skills or resources to gain info on the mission goal, acquire blueprints, bribe guards or prepare the right soft or spell for your endeavor. This will be closer to rolling the dice on an action and getting a short narrated outcome. Each of those actions will cost action points (and if you want to get better odds you may want to spend more action points on a specific objective).

Shadowrun Online

GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB Performance Review

Playing Shadowrun Online on the GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB, which is a 6 year old graphics card will likely get a very strong 200+ FPS. And those results are assuming a 1920x1080 screen resolution at High setting level.

When looking at the recommended requirements for Shadowrun Online we can see that this GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB is far better served running it on Ultra even at 4K, where it would achieve 191FPS. But it could cost around $1.57 per FPS at 4K. Compare this to Ultra 1440p, which is a more reasonable $0.93 per FPS.

The GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB along with the right system memory, 1GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz processor or better.

To summarise, with this graphics card you do not need concern yourself too much regarding Shadowrun Online frame rates. Because Ultra graphics setting can be turned on across all resolutions up to 4K quite comfortably. We are seeing 4K getting 191 FPS, 1440p will get 200+ frame rate and if you are interested then 1080p gaming can get 200+ FPS. Based around the GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB launch price, we calculate the cost per frame at different resolutions. 1080p Ultra frames will cost $0.71, 1440p frames cost $0.93 each and then the 4K costs $1.57 per frame.
