Shadowrun Online packshot image
*This Game Is Currently In Early Access* The game will feature two major parts the action map, where you (and your friends) do missions from stealthily infiltrating a secret Renraku research facility to punching the lights out of a major Aztechnology outpost with guns blazing. Hacking, magic and gunfights are all part of that and will be done simultaneously (so nobody needs to go for pizza while your hacker battles Black ICE for two hours).
The second part will be the legwork and mission preparation. This will happen on a city overview map, where you can try and use your contacts, skills or resources to gain info on the mission goal, acquire blueprints, bribe guards or prepare the right soft or spell for your endeavor. This will be closer to rolling the dice on an action and getting a short narrated outcome. Each of those actions will cost action points (and if you want to get better odds you may want to spend more action points on a specific objective).

Shadowrun Online

Radeon RX 460 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 460 4GB Performance Review

Playing Shadowrun Online on the Radeon RX 460 4GB, which is a 5 year old graphics card will likely return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. With that performance recorded at 1920x1080 res when running High graphics.

With such a strong 1080p performance the Radeon RX 460 4GB overshadows the Shadowrun Online recommended specs. Push things up to Ultra 4K and we still get 190 frames per sec. Using the graphics card release price, this is a $0.68 cost per FPS and a $0.41 per FPS at 1440p Ultra.

Crank things up is what we say. Ultra 4K is our recommended game settings for Shadowrun Online, as long as you have 1GB of RAM or more. A good processor component to help with these settings would be the AMD FX-6100.

To summarise, with this graphics card you do not need concern yourself too much regarding Shadowrun Online frame rates. Because Ultra graphics setting can be turned on across all resolutions up to 4K quite comfortably. We are seeing 4K getting 190 FPS, 1440p will get 200+ frame rate and if you are interested then 1080p gaming can get 200+ FPS. Based around the Radeon RX 460 4GB launch price, we calculate the cost per frame at different resolutions. 1080p Ultra frames will cost $0.31, 1440p frames cost $0.41 each and then the 4K costs $0.68 per frame.
