Shadowrun Online packshot image
*This Game Is Currently In Early Access* The game will feature two major parts the action map, where you (and your friends) do missions from stealthily infiltrating a secret Renraku research facility to punching the lights out of a major Aztechnology outpost with guns blazing. Hacking, magic and gunfights are all part of that and will be done simultaneously (so nobody needs to go for pizza while your hacker battles Black ICE for two hours).
The second part will be the legwork and mission preparation. This will happen on a city overview map, where you can try and use your contacts, skills or resources to gain info on the mission goal, acquire blueprints, bribe guards or prepare the right soft or spell for your endeavor. This will be closer to rolling the dice on an action and getting a short narrated outcome. Each of those actions will cost action points (and if you want to get better odds you may want to spend more action points on a specific objective).

Shadowrun Online

Radeon RX 5500 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 5500 4GB Performance Review

After playing Shadowrun Online on a Radeon RX 5500 4GB it will get a very strong 200+ FPS. Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res.

At $0 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play Shadowrun Online at a respectable 200+ frame rate on 4K Ultra.

The Radeon RX 5500 4GB along with the right system memory, 1GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core 3.6GHz processor or better.

In summary, the performance delivered by this graphics card easily overpowers that needed by Shadowrun Online. We expect to get a very strong frame rate of 200+ FPS at 1080p Ultra, but would advise moving up to 1440p Ultra to get 200+ frames per second or even 200+ FPS at 4K Ultra as the Radeon RX 5500 4GB can handle this. It just comes down to your preferred resolution then tweak your graphics settings to deliver the desired effects, without a care for performance.
