Trade Empires packshot image
Trade Empires is a PC game developed by Frog City Software in San Francisco and published by Eidos Interactive. During development its working title was The Silk Road; however, this was changed by Eidos Interactive as they were concerned about the title being too highbrow. Trade Empires is a pausable real-time strategy game about building a merchant empire. Gamers build vast transport and trade networks that change over thousands of years as new technologies are developed and more modern products are discovered. The rules of the game are simple; the variety comes in through the discovery of new products to trade and new ways to transport those products.

GeForce RTX 2060 3GB GDDR6

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2060 3GB GDDR6 Performance Review

Playing Trade Empires on the GeForce RTX 2060 3GB GDDR6, which is a 2 year old graphics card will likely return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

And so following those results you could of course play this at 1080p, but this GPU is somewhat wasted at that resolution. We would suggest running Trade Empires at 4K Ultra instead, where the GeForce RTX 2060 3GB GDDR6 would still get 200+ FPS at these performance hungry settings and resolution. When considering the GPUs release price, this comes in at $0 per Ultra 4K FPS or $0 at 1440p Ultra.

This is a powerful graphics card for Trade Empires and we can certainly recommend it to deliver 4K screen res at ultra settings. Get a system with at least 0.064GB of RAM though.

To summarise, with this graphics card you do not need concern yourself too much regarding Trade Empires frame rates. Because Ultra graphics setting can be turned on across all resolutions up to 4K quite comfortably. We are seeing 4K getting 200+ FPS, 1440p will get 200+ frame rate and if you are interested then 1080p gaming can get 200+ FPS. Based around the GeForce RTX 2060 3GB GDDR6 launch price, we calculate the cost per frame at different resolutions. 1080p Ultra frames will cost $0, 1440p frames cost $0 each and then the 4K costs $0 per frame.
