ArcheAge packshot image
All players begin their journey on either the Nuia or Harihara continents. From there they explore the world, cooperating or competing with each other. Remnants of the Lost Continent, where the ancestors of the world's races lived together in peace two thousand years ago, still dominate the landscape. If you explore deep into the hearts of these ancient relics, you may discover the secrets of legendary gods and heroes. Or you may reveal more details about the catastrophe that caused the Nuia and Harihara schism. It all depends on your choices.

ArcheAge

Radeon RX 480 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 480 4GB Performance Review

Playing ArcheAge on the Radeon RX 480 4GB, which is a 4 year old graphics card will likely return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. And those results are assuming a 1920x1080 screen resolution at High setting level.

Following on from those 1920x1080 screen FPS, we know this GPU is of a much higher performance than the recommended system specs. Even 4K Ultra returns 125 FPS on ArcheAge. But it’s still worth considering the $1.59 per Ultra 4K FPS you would get compared to the $0.95 at 1440p Ultra.

This is a powerful graphics card for ArcheAge and we can certainly recommend it to deliver 4K screen res at ultra settings. Get a system with at least 4GB of RAM though. The PC’s processor would also want to be around the Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz’s performance to get a smooth experience.

To summarise, with this graphics card you do not need concern yourself too much regarding ArcheAge frame rates. Because Ultra graphics setting can be turned on across all resolutions up to 4K quite comfortably. We are seeing 4K getting 125 FPS, 1440p will get 200+ frame rate and if you are interested then 1080p gaming can get 200+ FPS. Based around the Radeon RX 480 4GB launch price, we calculate the cost per frame at different resolutions. 1080p Ultra frames will cost $0.72, 1440p frames cost $0.95 each and then the 4K costs $1.59 per frame.
