As Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear would say.. MORE POOOOOOWER! The power pack is designed for those of you who can’t get enough horsepower under your right foot. Three high profile exotic GT sportscars (Pagani Zonda R, BMW M3 GT2, Matech GT 1) ready to hammer around new tracks from both sides of the old iron curtain. Mid-Ohio is often named “best road course” in the US, Chayka is the first track out of former Soviet Union to make it to a SimBin title.

GT Power Expansion

Radeon RX 550 2GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 550 2GB Performance Review

Running a Radeon RX 550 2GB to play GT Power Expansion shows us that we expect it to return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res.

Following on from those 1920x1080 screen FPS, we know this GPU is of a much higher performance than the recommended system specs. Even 4K Ultra returns 200+ FPS on GT Power Expansion. But it’s still worth considering the $0.39 per Ultra 4K FPS you would get compared to the $0.23 at 1440p Ultra.

This is a powerful graphics card for GT Power Expansion and we can certainly recommend it to deliver 4K screen res at ultra settings. Get a system with at least 2GB of RAM though. The PC’s processor would also want to be around the AMD Ryzen R3 1200X’s performance to get a smooth experience.

To summarise, this game runs easily using this graphics card at all resolutions. GT Power Expansion gets 200+ FPS at 4K Ultra costing $0.39 per frame. But if that doesnt feel right for you then you can drop the graphics setting down to High for 200+ FPS costing $0.28 per frame. Otherwise you can get some great performance by moving down a resolution bracket to 1440p. 200+ FPS in Ultra 1440p costing $0.23 per frame or 1440p High gets 200+ FPS costing $0.17 per frame.
