GT Power Expansion packshot image
As Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear would say.. MORE POOOOOOWER! The power pack is designed for those of you who can’t get enough horsepower under your right foot. Three high profile exotic GT sportscars (Pagani Zonda R, BMW M3 GT2, Matech GT 1) ready to hammer around new tracks from both sides of the old iron curtain. Mid-Ohio is often named “best road course” in the US, Chayka is the first track out of former Soviet Union to make it to a SimBin title.

GT Power Expansion

GeForce RTX 2080

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2080 Performance Review

Running a GeForce RTX 2080 to play GT Power Expansion shows us that we expect it to get a very strong 200+ FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

At $1.56 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play GT Power Expansion at a respectable 200+ frame rate on 4K Ultra.

The GeForce RTX 2080 along with the right system memory, 2GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a Intel Core i7-8700K 6-Core 3.7GHz processor or better.

To summarise, this game runs easily using this graphics card at all resolutions. GT Power Expansion gets 200+ FPS at 4K Ultra costing $1.56 per frame. But if that doesnt feel right for you then you can drop the graphics setting down to High for 200+ FPS costing $1.11 per frame. Otherwise you can get some great performance by moving down a resolution bracket to 1440p. 200+ FPS in Ultra 1440p costing $0.93 per frame or 1440p High gets 200+ FPS costing $0.66 per frame.
