GT Power Expansion packshot image
As Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear would say.. MORE POOOOOOWER! The power pack is designed for those of you who can’t get enough horsepower under your right foot. Three high profile exotic GT sportscars (Pagani Zonda R, BMW M3 GT2, Matech GT 1) ready to hammer around new tracks from both sides of the old iron curtain. Mid-Ohio is often named “best road course” in the US, Chayka is the first track out of former Soviet Union to make it to a SimBin title.

GT Power Expansion

Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB Performance Review

After playing GT Power Expansion on a Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB it will get a very strong 200+ FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

At $0.95 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play GT Power Expansion at a respectable 200+ frame rate on 4K Ultra.

The Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB along with the right system memory, 2GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a AMD Ryzen R7 1800X processor or better.

In summary, the performance delivered by this graphics card easily overpowers that needed by GT Power Expansion. We expect to get a very strong frame rate of 200+ FPS at 1080p Ultra, but would advise moving up to 1440p Ultra to get 200+ frames per second or even 200+ FPS at 4K Ultra as the Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB can handle this. It just comes down to your preferred resolution then tweak your graphics settings to deliver the desired effects, without a care for performance.
