A Virus Named Tom packshot image
The game is an action-puzzler. The puzzle comes from rearrange circuits to spread the virus. The action comes from dodging anti-virus drones while doing it. It’s one of the few puzzle games out there where you can play co-operatively (with up to 3 friends). But if you tire of working together, there is a battle mode where you can take on your friends to see who is the supreme virus.

A Virus Named Tom

GeForce RTX 2070

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2070 Performance Review

We can see that when playing A Virus Named Tom with a GeForce RTX 2070 will get a very strong 200+ FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

At $0.22 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play A Virus Named Tom at a respectable 200+ frame rate on 4K Ultra.

The GeForce RTX 2070 along with the right system memory, 1GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a Intel Core i7-8700 6-Core 3.2GHz processor or better.

In summary, Ultra graphics setting is highly achievable with this GeForce RTX 2070 card, but what monitor resolution are you looking to play A Virus Named Tom at, because you can get 200+ FPS at Ultra 4K. But perhaps you feel better served at 1440p, where you would get 200+ frames per second on Ultra 1440p. Lower the resolution further and you get a blistering 200+ FPS at 1080p Ultra.
