Strange Brigade

Radeon RX 580 8GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 580 8GB Performance Review

The experience of playing Strange Brigade through a Radeon RX 580 8GB is going to deliver a solid 75 FPS. Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res.

The Radeon RX 580 8GB is going to do great at 1440p. We can see that in Ultra 1440p we will avg around 41 FPS. At High setting it gets 57FPS, but it is also capable of bumping up to 4K in High settings. 4K High will return 34 FPS or 4K Medium gets 51 FPS. Converting this into a cost per FPS we are looking at $0 on High settings and $0 at Medium.

In summary, 1440p resolution shows itself to be the optimum performance vs visuals for the Radeon RX 580 8GB. While it can certainly get a strong 1080p Ultra of 54 FPS, if you want to move up to 1440p on Strange Brigade then we can see 1440p Low setting getting 108 FPS or the Medium returning 85 FPS. Change graphics settings up to High for 57 FPS and then Ultra gets 41 FPS.
