Radeon RX Vega 8

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX Vega 8 Performance Review

Playing Carrion on the Radeon RX Vega 8, which is a 2 year old graphics card will likely result in a passable 48 FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

This GPU is a solid performer even in larger screen resolutions. We would expect it to achieve 36 FPS in 1440p while running smoothly on High settings. Although it would struggle a little on ultra with 26 FPS.

To summarise, you may be toying with the idea that a 1440p resolution could be achieved with this Radeon RX Vega 8 graphics card, but in so doing you would have to drop the graphics settings to pretty Low according to our assessment. But let the Carrion frame rate numbers decide and guide. 1080p Medium 71 FPS, 1080p High setting: 48 FPS, 1080p Ultra setting: 34 FPS, 1440p Low setting: 68 FPS, 1440p Medium setting: 54 FPS. Our Low vs Ultra analysis tells us that you would be better placed running this at 1080p, but at least you could still tinker with graphics settings for 1440p to perhaps be passable?
