Final Upgrade

GeForce GTX 970 4GB

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 970 4GB Performance Review

Booting up Final Upgrade with the 7 year old GeForce GTX 970 4GB looks like it will get a very strong 95 FPS. And those results are assuming a 1920x1080 screen resolution at High setting level.

The 51 FPS on 1440p Ultra setting is a great way of running this game with this GPU. You can still consider pushing it up to 4K, where it can get 43FPS on High 4K or perhaps drop it to Medium 4K, where it increases to 64 FPS. This comes in at $6.47 per frame at the GPUs release price.

This GeForce GTX 970 4GB GPU would be best placed to run Final Upgrade at 1080p Ultra. Be sure to add the required 8GB system memory as well though and a Intel Core i7-4770K 4-Core 3.5GHz processor or better .

In summary, we feel that the GeForce GTX 970 4GB looks and performs great on 1440p resolution. So if you want a 1440p Final Upgrade experience it will generate 136 FPS on Low 1440p graphics setting, 107 FPS when on Medium 1440p, 72 FPS when played at High settings and down to 51 FPS when turned up to Ultra on 1440p. You might still be looking for 1080p though to get some higher smoother FPS, where you could get 68 FPS at Ultra 1080p resolution. So something to think about.
