“World War III: Black Gold” is an RTS game in full 3D, set in the modern world, and allowing the player to choose any of the three sides of the battlefield – USA, Russia or Iraq. The countries use any way and weapon that are at their disposal to fight for the sought after “black gold” - that is, fighting for oil. Each side has its unique combat strategy and weaponry (e.g. chemical weapons, suicide squads, stealth technologies...), their warfare is divided into categories: anti-air weaponry, anti-tank weaponry, chemical weaponry, EMP weaponry and weapons of mass destruction.

World War III: Black Gold

GeForce GT 1030

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GT 1030 Performance Review

We can see that when playing World War III: Black Gold with a GeForce GT 1030 will return a consistently high 140 frame rate. Those frames are achieved on World War III: Black Gold when being played at 1920x1080 screen resolution and on High graphics.

Playing World War III: Black Gold on Ultra 4k is certainly possible with this graphics card and we expect it will return around 45 frames per second at that top scale resolution.

In summary, Ultra graphics setting is highly achievable with this GeForce GT 1030 card, but what monitor resolution are you looking to play World War III: Black Gold at, because you can get 45 FPS at Ultra 4K. But perhaps you feel better served at 1440p, where you would get 76 frames per second on Ultra 1440p. Lower the resolution further and you get a blistering 100 FPS at 1080p Ultra.
