Shrek 2 packshot image
Shrek 2's storyline follows the same plot of the movie. Shrek and Fiona are on a journey to Far, Far Away Land to visit Fiona's parents. Shrek's in-laws aren't too thrilled that a crude ogre is married to their beloved daughter, so the battle for acceptance ensues. The game also covers things not shown in the film. Plot elements are delivered primarily through a storybook interface (text and illustrations) shown before each level.

Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB Performance Review

Running a Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB to play Shrek 2 shows us that we expect it to get a very strong 140 FPS. Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res.

At $0 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play Shrek 2 at a respectable 45 frame rate on 4K Ultra.

To summarise, this game runs easily using this graphics card at all resolutions. Shrek 2 gets 45 FPS at 4K Ultra costing $0 per frame. But if that doesnt feel right for you then you can drop the graphics setting down to High for 64 FPS costing $0 per frame. Otherwise you can get some great performance by moving down a resolution bracket to 1440p. 76 FPS in Ultra 1440p costing $0 per frame or 1440p High gets 107 FPS costing $0 per frame.
