Fifa 14 packshot image
End of September beginning of October is the start of the footie season and with it we get the latest instalment of Fifa.
Fifa and Pro Evolution (Fifas biggest rival) usually turn up just after real life transfers have been completed.
We are still waiting for something new to happen with the game engines used but it might be that EA will wait for the new Consoles to get released and running before updating the game engine
We will update with more info once it comes out.

GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB Performance Review

Playing Fifa 14 on the GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB, which is a 5 year old graphics card will likely get a very strong 140 FPS. And those results are assuming a 1920x1080 screen resolution at High setting level.

When looking at the recommended requirements for Fifa 14 we can see that this GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB is far better served running it on Ultra even at 4K, where it would achieve 45FPS. But it could cost around $6.64 per FPS at 4K. Compare this to Ultra 1440p, which is a more reasonable $3.93 per FPS.

To summarise, with this graphics card you do not need concern yourself too much regarding Fifa 14 frame rates. Because Ultra graphics setting can be turned on across all resolutions up to 4K quite comfortably. We are seeing 4K getting 45 FPS, 1440p will get 76 frame rate and if you are interested then 1080p gaming can get 100 FPS. Based around the GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB launch price, we calculate the cost per frame at different resolutions. 1080p Ultra frames will cost $2.99, 1440p frames cost $3.93 each and then the 4K costs $6.64 per frame.
