Fifa 14 packshot image
End of September beginning of October is the start of the footie season and with it we get the latest instalment of Fifa.
Fifa and Pro Evolution (Fifas biggest rival) usually turn up just after real life transfers have been completed.
We are still waiting for something new to happen with the game engines used but it might be that EA will wait for the new Consoles to get released and running before updating the game engine
We will update with more info once it comes out.

GeForce GTX 1050

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 1050 Performance Review

Viewing the performance found on the 4 year old GeForce GTX 1050 while playing Fifa 14 we quickly see it can get a very strong 140 FPS. With that performance recorded at 1920x1080 res when running High graphics.

As this is a relatively powerful GPU, especially when comparing it to Fifa 14 rec requirements, it would make more sense if you pushed it up to 1440p or 4K, where even at Ultra 4K graphics settings the GeForce GTX 1050 will still get a solid 45 FPS.

To summarise, GeForce GTX 1050 graphics cards can smoothly run this game, but what Fifa 14 screen resolution would you like to run with? While you can get 45 FPS with 4K Ultra you can increase your frame rate to 76 FPS in Ultra 1440p and up to 100 FPS with 1080p. Pricing this on a frame per frame around the graphics cards original price it will cost $1.50 per 1080p Ultra frame. This increases to $1.97 per frame at 1440p Ultra and even more with 4K Ultra at $3.33 per frame.
