Fifa 14 packshot image
End of September beginning of October is the start of the footie season and with it we get the latest instalment of Fifa.
Fifa and Pro Evolution (Fifas biggest rival) usually turn up just after real life transfers have been completed.
We are still waiting for something new to happen with the game engines used but it might be that EA will wait for the new Consoles to get released and running before updating the game engine
We will update with more info once it comes out.

Fifa 14

Radeon RX 5900

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 5900 Performance Review

The experience of playing Fifa 14 through a 1 year old Radeon RX 5900 is going to return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. Those frames are achieved on Fifa 14 when being played at 1920x1080 screen resolution and on High graphics.

With such a strong 1080p performance the Radeon RX 5900 overshadows the Fifa 14 recommended specs. Push things up to Ultra 4K and we still get 200+ frames per sec. Using the graphics card release price, this is a $0 cost per FPS and a $0 per FPS at 1440p Ultra.

Crank things up is what we say. Ultra 4K is our recommended game settings for Fifa 14, as long as you have 2GB of RAM or more. A good processor component to help with these settings would be the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X.

To summarise, we are in the realms of who gives a crap, when looking at game hardware demands, because the Radeon RX 5900 card will play Fifa 14 at Ultra settings almost regardless of the screen resolutions. 4K Ultra will get 200+ frame rate, 1440p can deliver 200+ FPS, and the lower resolution of 1080p comes in at 200+ frames per second. For interest the cost per frame rate would look like this - 1080p Ultra costs $0, 1440p costs $0 and 4K costs $0.
