State Of Decay packshot image
Unlike games such as Left 4 Dead, State of Decay will focus more on survival. Stealth, evasion, distractions, securing the player's resources, and moving through the world will be more emphasized than zombie combat. The game will be open world, where the player's choices will be an important factor. Players will be able to build structures such as sniper towers and barricades to defend against the infected population. Food, water, shelter, ammo, and supplies such as copper wire will be necessary for survival. To obtain these supplies, the player will need to go on raids to abandoned supermarkets and many other shops, or the player can grow food themselves. The player will also be able to rescue other NPC survivors, such as electricians, to help with defense, repair damaged electronics in the player's base, or to help with the player's raiding parties. However, the player will also be able to be a lone wolf, moving from building to building trying to survive.

State Of Decay

GeForce GTX 950 2GB

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 950 2GB Performance Review

Getting the State Of Decay running while using a GeForce GTX 950 2GB can see it could return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. And those results are assuming a 1920x1080 screen resolution at High setting level.

Playing State Of Decay on Ultra 4k is certainly possible with this graphics card and we expect it will return around 66 frames per second at that top scale resolution.

Finding a PC with this gpu or better would return some strong FPS in State Of Decay. We would definitely recommend running at 4K screen res and on ultra, before trying any lower screen resolution. You would also need at least 4GB of RAM. Perhaps couple this gaming PC with a processor that's as powerful as the Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz and Ultra 4K would be a smooth experience.

In summary, the GeForce GTX 950 2GB is clearly an overpowered bit of hardware for State Of Decay, but it certainly gives you the choice of desired in game visuals. With 1080p Ultra coming in at 146 FPS, then you have 1440p Ultra with 111 frames per second and on up to 4K resolution Ultra will see 66 FPS.
