State Of Decay packshot image
Unlike games such as Left 4 Dead, State of Decay will focus more on survival. Stealth, evasion, distractions, securing the player's resources, and moving through the world will be more emphasized than zombie combat. The game will be open world, where the player's choices will be an important factor. Players will be able to build structures such as sniper towers and barricades to defend against the infected population. Food, water, shelter, ammo, and supplies such as copper wire will be necessary for survival. To obtain these supplies, the player will need to go on raids to abandoned supermarkets and many other shops, or the player can grow food themselves. The player will also be able to rescue other NPC survivors, such as electricians, to help with defense, repair damaged electronics in the player's base, or to help with the player's raiding parties. However, the player will also be able to be a lone wolf, moving from building to building trying to survive.

State Of Decay

GeForce GTX 960 Ti 4GB

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 960 Ti 4GB Performance Review

After playing State Of Decay on a GeForce GTX 960 Ti 4GB it will get a very strong 200+ FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

When looking at the recommended requirements for State Of Decay we can see that this GeForce GTX 960 Ti 4GB is far better served running it on Ultra even at 4K, where it would achieve 93FPS. But it could cost around $3.22 per FPS at 4K. Compare this to Ultra 1440p, which is a more reasonable $1.92 per FPS.

The GeForce GTX 960 Ti 4GB along with the right system memory, 4GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz processor or better.

In summary, the performance delivered by this graphics card easily overpowers that needed by State Of Decay. We expect to get a very strong frame rate of 200+ FPS at 1080p Ultra, but would advise moving up to 1440p Ultra to get 156 frames per second or even 93 FPS at 4K Ultra as the GeForce GTX 960 Ti 4GB can handle this. It just comes down to your preferred resolution then tweak your graphics settings to deliver the desired effects, without a care for performance.
