State Of Decay packshot image
Unlike games such as Left 4 Dead, State of Decay will focus more on survival. Stealth, evasion, distractions, securing the player's resources, and moving through the world will be more emphasized than zombie combat. The game will be open world, where the player's choices will be an important factor. Players will be able to build structures such as sniper towers and barricades to defend against the infected population. Food, water, shelter, ammo, and supplies such as copper wire will be necessary for survival. To obtain these supplies, the player will need to go on raids to abandoned supermarkets and many other shops, or the player can grow food themselves. The player will also be able to rescue other NPC survivors, such as electricians, to help with defense, repair damaged electronics in the player's base, or to help with the player's raiding parties. However, the player will also be able to be a lone wolf, moving from building to building trying to survive.

State Of Decay

GeForce GTX 2050

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 2050 Performance Review

We can see that when playing State Of Decay with a GeForce GTX 2050 will return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

Playing State Of Decay on Ultra 4k is certainly possible with this graphics card and we expect it will return around 87 frames per second at that top scale resolution.

Finding a PC with this gpu or better would return some strong FPS in State Of Decay. We would definitely recommend running at 4K screen res and on ultra, before trying any lower screen resolution. You would also need at least 4GB of RAM.

In summary, Ultra graphics setting is highly achievable with this GeForce GTX 2050 card, but what monitor resolution are you looking to play State Of Decay at, because you can get 87 FPS at Ultra 4K. But perhaps you feel better served at 1440p, where you would get 146 frames per second on Ultra 1440p. Lower the resolution further and you get a blistering 191 FPS at 1080p Ultra.
