State Of Decay packshot image
Unlike games such as Left 4 Dead, State of Decay will focus more on survival. Stealth, evasion, distractions, securing the player's resources, and moving through the world will be more emphasized than zombie combat. The game will be open world, where the player's choices will be an important factor. Players will be able to build structures such as sniper towers and barricades to defend against the infected population. Food, water, shelter, ammo, and supplies such as copper wire will be necessary for survival. To obtain these supplies, the player will need to go on raids to abandoned supermarkets and many other shops, or the player can grow food themselves. The player will also be able to rescue other NPC survivors, such as electricians, to help with defense, repair damaged electronics in the player's base, or to help with the player's raiding parties. However, the player will also be able to be a lone wolf, moving from building to building trying to survive.

State Of Decay

Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB Performance Review

Running a Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB to play State Of Decay shows us that we expect it to get a very strong 200+ FPS. Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res.

At $0 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play State Of Decay at a respectable 155 frame rate on 4K Ultra.

The Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB along with the right system memory, 4GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a processor or better.

To summarise, this game runs easily using this graphics card at all resolutions. State Of Decay gets 155 FPS at 4K Ultra costing $0 per frame. But if that doesnt feel right for you then you can drop the graphics setting down to High for 200+ FPS costing $0 per frame. Otherwise you can get some great performance by moving down a resolution bracket to 1440p. 200+ FPS in Ultra 1440p costing $0 per frame or 1440p High gets 200+ FPS costing $0 per frame.
