Strider 2014 packshot image
An intense side-scrolling action platformer, Strider's action begins in the expansive metropolis of Kazakh City, a mix of ornate Russian architecture and hard-edged futuristic high-rise buildings with sprawling energy cables and pipework. Players freely explore the city, gaining new abilities and items which in turn open access to a truly expansive interconnected game world beyond. Strider features the same franchise hallmarks of fluid, lightning quick combat and ground-breaking free-flowing traversal that inspired many of today's third person action titles.

Strider 2014

Radeon RX Vega 64 Air XT 8GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX Vega 64 Air XT 8GB Performance Review

The experience of playing Strider 2014 through a 4 year old Radeon RX Vega 64 Air XT 8GB is going to return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. Those frames are achieved on Strider 2014 when being played at 1920x1080 screen resolution and on High graphics.

Playing Strider 2014 on Ultra 4k is certainly possible with this graphics card and we expect it will return around 200+ frames per second at that top scale resolution.

Finding a PC with this gpu or better would return some strong FPS in Strider 2014. We would definitely recommend running at 4K screen res and on ultra, before trying any lower screen resolution. You would also need at least 4GB of RAM. Perhaps couple this gaming PC with a processor that's as powerful as the AMD Ryzen R5 1600X and Ultra 4K would be a smooth experience.

To summarise, we are in the realms of who gives a crap, when looking at game hardware demands, because the Radeon RX Vega 64 Air XT 8GB card will play Strider 2014 at Ultra settings almost regardless of the screen resolutions. 4K Ultra will get 200+ frame rate, 1440p can deliver 200+ FPS, and the lower resolution of 1080p comes in at 200+ frames per second. For interest the cost per frame rate would look like this - 1080p Ultra costs $0.73, 1440p costs $0.96 and 4K costs $1.61.
