Strider 2014 packshot image
An intense side-scrolling action platformer, Strider's action begins in the expansive metropolis of Kazakh City, a mix of ornate Russian architecture and hard-edged futuristic high-rise buildings with sprawling energy cables and pipework. Players freely explore the city, gaining new abilities and items which in turn open access to a truly expansive interconnected game world beyond. Strider features the same franchise hallmarks of fluid, lightning quick combat and ground-breaking free-flowing traversal that inspired many of today's third person action titles.

Strider 2014

GeForce RTX 2080

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2080 Performance Review

Running a GeForce RTX 2080 to play Strider 2014 shows us that we expect it to get a very strong 200+ FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

At $2.94 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play Strider 2014 at a respectable 200+ frame rate on 4K Ultra.

The GeForce RTX 2080 along with the right system memory, 4GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a Intel Core i7-8700K 6-Core 3.7GHz processor or better.

To summarise, this game runs easily using this graphics card at all resolutions. Strider 2014 gets 200+ FPS at 4K Ultra costing $2.94 per frame. But if that doesnt feel right for you then you can drop the graphics setting down to High for 200+ FPS costing $2.10 per frame. Otherwise you can get some great performance by moving down a resolution bracket to 1440p. 200+ FPS in Ultra 1440p costing $1.75 per frame or 1440p High gets 200+ FPS costing $1.25 per frame.
