The September launch will see F1 2010 become the first official FORMULA ONE game to appear on Xbox 360 and marks the return of FORMULA ONE to PC after an eight year absence. The arrival of the HD editions of FORMULA ONE follows Codemasters’ extremely successful launch of F1 2009 for Wii and PSP, which became a top five best seller throughout the past holiday season.
In F1 2010, gamers will take on the full, expanded grid in a variety of game modes including GRAND PRIX, Championship, Time Trial and an extensive, innovative Career mode. F1 2010 will also feature a highly advanced damage model, fully dynamic weather system and extensive competitive multiplayer options.

F1 2010

GeForce GTX 1060

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 1060 Performance Review

Viewing the performance found on the 4 year old GeForce GTX 1060 while playing F1 2010 we quickly see it can get a very strong 200+ FPS. With that performance recorded at 1920x1080 res when running High graphics.

As this is a relatively powerful GPU, especially when comparing it to F1 2010 rec requirements, it would make more sense if you pushed it up to 1440p or 4K, where even at Ultra 4K graphics settings the GeForce GTX 1060 will still get a solid 200+ FPS.

With a system housing a graphics card like the GeForce GTX 1060 and some 2GB RAM, we will see a strong 4K Ultra result in F1 2010. Look for a processor like the Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz CPU to go with this setup and Ultra is a sure thing.

To summarise, GeForce GTX 1060 graphics cards can smoothly run this game, but what F1 2010 screen resolution would you like to run with? While you can get 200+ FPS with 4K Ultra you can increase your frame rate to 200+ FPS in Ultra 1440p and up to 200+ FPS with 1080p. Pricing this on a frame per frame around the graphics cards original price it will cost $0.40 per 1080p Ultra frame. This increases to $0.52 per frame at 1440p Ultra and even more with 4K Ultra at $0.88 per frame.
