My current 560ti is getting dusty and im thinking of
buying a new high end GPU (thinking about 970).
But is it worth it buying a new Maxwell GPU?
Shouldn't Pascall be on the doorstep?

My friend just got a 970 and he's very happy with it. But funnily enough - in most games my lappy pushes more FPS. He's being bottlenecked by his CPU a bit (in Planetside 2, for example) and his slow hard drive (in terms of games like Wolfenstein: TNO or GTA 5). Weird, but think about it!

I guess (hope) my CPU won't bottleneck it.
Though I have not ordered the GPU yet

I don't think it would, your specs will be very similar to my lappy then and I don't feel bottlenecked. The only game I've had trouble running so far was Watch_Dogs - still stutters like a biatch :) (and I haven't tried AC:Unity either because I'm not an AC fan)

don't worry the i7 2600(k) has ONLY 20% lower IPC/ performance clock for clock than the i7 6700k and an i7 6700k is much more than enough for a single gtx 970.
