This is just a friendly kind of warning to anyone thinking about spending their money on this monitor. It is a 1440p monitor, and playing games at 1080p does not look good at all.
So if you're playing newer AA - AAA games, I would NOT recommend anything less than 970 SLI or a 980. ( Or equivalent at the red side ;) I've never tried a 980 at 1440p, but still with these cards you might want to drop to medium setting for framrates near the 100-165hz depending on the games.
