Oh ok. Do you have to do anything to the computer before swapping mobos (ie format hdd) or is it a simple swap (like a gpu)?

Hard to tell, i did changed my motherboard few times without having to uninstall my OS, so it might work for you as well, but your best decision is to do a clean install, simply because it can prevent any future issues.

If you have the correct bios installed this motherboard will use the FX6300 FX8120. That CPU support list shows that with the correct Bios it will use two of the Vishera CPU's.
