From the creators of Max Payne and Alan Wake comes Quantum Break, an Xbox One exclusive action video game that, interestingly, will feature live-action videos blended with regular gameplay.

We will get a first look at the upcoming Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break at the Spike’s VGX awards, as confirmed by the host Geoff Keighley on Twitter....

It has also been confirmed that a Quantum Break TV show is in production, and will be included with the game. Interestingly, the show won't be just some neutral videos on a disc; according to developer Remedy,  the episodes will be influenced by your decisions in the game, and will continually adapt to reflect the choices you've made. It will also give you clues on how to further develop into the game.

The game is being developed by Remedy Entertainment and will be published by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One, although no release window has been revealed as of yet.

What do you think of the idea of blending game and live action? Do you think it will work, or is it just a gimmick?
