EA has revealed two new mech classes for upcoming multiplayer FPS Titanfall.

The hotly anticipated title, which is due to come to Microsoft platforms in March, received two new trailers at Saturday's VGX awards showing off two of the kinds of Titan mech available within the game...

The first - the "Ogre" - will be a heavier, slower kind of machine but with sturdier armour than Titanfall's standard mech option. The second reveal - the "Stryder" - is the polar opposite; a light, fast build.

The two trailers are advertisements for Hammond Robotics, the fictional technology firm who manufacture the game's robots. You can check out footage of the two new builds below.

Respawn boss Vince Zampella also revealed over the weekend that Titanfall is already finished, and that the final few months before launch will be merely for sorting out balance issues, bug fixing and fine tuning. This should be music to the ears of EA bosses, who are still dealing with the fallout from the buggy, unfinished release of Battlefield 4 two months ago.

Titanfall launches on 11th March in North America, 13th March in the EU and 14th March elsewhere. It will be available on all Microsoft platforms including PC, but won't be available for any other consoles, thanks to EA striking a lifetime exclusivity deal with Microsoft.

What do you think of the two new mech classes? Are you excited for Titanfall? Which platform will you be playing it on?

Is this game using a next gen iteration of the Source Engine because those visuals and level of detail are just impressive... Obviously we will need to take a closer look at the final game but all in all, I like how this game is looking - from a technical standpoint... From a gameplay standpoint, I am very much looking forward to this...

Titanfall is showing so much promise. Can't wait to see how the game pans out and if it will possibly take over the FPS throne.

This game will be pure awesomeness. Let's hope Respawn will break the monotonious spell of EA's unfinished games, and it'll be even better!
