Good things come in threes, and that couldn’t be more apt when a trio of foul-mouthed South Park: The Stick of Truth trailers trot up to give us their unique brand of outlandish verbal hostility.

Every time I see it I still have to pinch myself to believe it, but they are at last making a South Park game that looks and sounds like you’re playing the TV show. My memories of forcing myself through South Park 64 still haunt me to this day…

The Obsidian developed RPG has had its script written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, whereby the children of South Park are caught up in a game of live-action role-playing. Humans and elves are locked in pitched battle known as the the neverending war, over the titular Stick of truth. For a thousand years they have fought, but the arrival of a new kid sparks change in the tides of war. If all that sounds a bit too Lord of the Rings for you, you'll be please to know you'll be fighting off underpants gnomes, hippies and other forces of evil.

First up we have the return of Mr Hankey, complete with pill-popping alcoholic wife, Mrs Hankey. Those with sensitive ears be warned…

Secondly we have the Ginger Kid Nazi Zombie trailer, which does it exactly what it says on the tin, showing a hall-monitor turned Third Reich…

Lastly we have the South Park: The Stick of Truth TV spot which made its debut during the coveted Superbowl yesterday. This touts South Park: The Stick of Truth as the definitive South Park game, as well as the semi-return of Chef...

South Park: The Stick of Truth is arriving on 4th March for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in the US, before arriving three days later on March 7 in Europe.

Has the delay affected your hype or are you more ready than ever for a return to South Park?

Do you think South Park: The Stick of Truth will be able to achieve the Holy Grail and be as funny as the TV show?
