Konami has released a gameplay video showcasing some of the weaponry found in Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2.

As well as giving us insight into the game’s battle system, the trailer shows of the Chaos Claws; defence busting claw weapons used to rid the enemy of protective gear and leave him weak to attack...

According to publishers Konami, this weapon will be particularly useful for armour destruction, helping protagonist Dracula to take on the game’s more heavily armoured hostile creatures. They can be found pretty early in the game, we’re told, and are able to be used in conjunction with the previously revealed Void Sword; the claws used to dispose of armour, shields and other defensive gimmicks leaving enemies vulnerable to your blade.

Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of the weaponry in action, as well as footage of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2’s combat system.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 launches two weeks tomorrow on 28th February and will be available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox One.

What do you think of the new footage? Will you be buying this game when it is released at the end of the month?

Thanks, I'm now owning a Linkworld LPZ26-50 800w psu and I think it's bad, as soon as my gpu starts working on games that requires alot of power or testing the gpu with windows base scores it will shut down my pc everytime. But now I think the corsair cx750m is going to change that.

EDGE wasn't impressed with the game and gave it a 4. I didn't think much of the first game and doubt I'll ever play the second game. Correction: the game is coming out for the Xbox 360, not the Xbox One.
