Us mere mortals have been lucky enough to have a new Dragon Age: Inquisition trailer summoned to us courtesy of Bioware producer Cameron Lee.

The new Dragon Age III: Inquisition trailer shows off the stunning looking Frostbite 3-powered wild lands of Thedas that we’ll be exploring later this year, with each area containing its own wildlife and unique ecosystem, no doubt eager to tear your puny warrior limb from limb…

One of the biggest distinctions with Dragon Age 3 from its predecessors is a move to a more open-world, which promises to be both vast and complex. Lee wrote in his blog post that the team at Bioware “accomplished this by using the Frostbite engine, which supports massive areas, destruction, and the most advanced next-gen technology we’ve ever seen.

Dragon Age: Inquisition stands out because it’s set to be Bioware’s first next-gen game, meaning that the boundaries of the RPG gameplay are to be pushed further than we’ve seen before, thanks to shedding the limitations of the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. “Nowhere is this more visible than in the incredible size and diversity of locations, life, and hidden places you’ll discover on your journey,” Lee continued. “Each area in the video has its own realistic ecosystem with predators, prey, factions, and opportunities to expand your Inquisition. The world’s population is based on an emergent system that adjusts what you’ll encounter based on how your actions tip the balance in the area. You’ll see towns attacked by bandits, deer fleeing from wolves, giant’s feeding on bears, and countless other scenarios.

Anyway, enough of what Cameron Lee thinks, you can see it all for yourself in the trailer below...

Has this new trailer got you hyped for Dragon Age: Inquisition?

These next gen titles are ****ing delivering. I'm thinking that my 780's are going to get their full use pretty soon. Just waiting for Gsync monitors to release and the next gen experience will be complete :D

Not getting this because it's not on steam. This game+ the modding community on steam would make this amazing. The graphics don't look "stunning" like newer games. This video is clearly on console and made for console so no go for me.

Frostbite 3 with Speedtree...? This game may be a tad more demanding than BF4...

agreed. both of the other games took about 40 hours. However, i like to take my time and explore :D. Oblivion took me 140 hours but i did EVERY quest in the game, then killed every non-essential being in the game !!! :D

Is it me or , it kinda looks like a heavily-modded Skyrim.

you can say that at some points but not really. I think they look the same and different in the same time, but in the end of the day most of these games look quite alike.

Yeah I agree with you on that one, but I still think a heavily modded Skyrim would still look better than this "New Game" XD

we shall see but I don't think so, as meself I modded my skyrim with like dosens of things but you don't feel so realistic moves as for example the troll on that video.
