Another month, another gaggle of ‘free’ games for Playstation Plus subscribers. This April US and European gamers on PS3, PS4 and Vita will be treated to some stone cold AAA classics, indie heroes and even a sports game or two thrown in the mix.
First up for both territories is the brand new Playstation 4 release Mercenary Kings, a retro-inspired 2D sidescroller from Scott Pilgrim vs The World developer Tribute Games, influenced by Neo Geo classic Metal Slug…
This slice of old-school goodness is joined by Batman: Arkham City, Prov Evolution Soccer 2014, Stealth Inc and more in a stellar lineup this month for Playstation gamers.
European PS+ Releases
Hotline Miami (Cross-Buy)
Mercenary Kings (PS4)
MotoGP 13 (Vita)
Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 (PS3)
Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time (Cross-Buy)
US PS+ Releases
Batman: Arkham City (PS3)
Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (PS3)
Mercenary Kings (PS4)
Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD (Vita)
Stealth Inc. A Clone In The Dark (PS3)
Velocity Ultra (Vita)
Some cracking games there this month covering quite a few bases, including a few Playstation Plus rarities when it comes to the duo of sports gamings hitting Europe. In the case of Pro Evo it’s definitely the first time we’ve seen a sports game available for free during its first year.
For Playstation users all you need to do is purchase these for £0.00/$0.00 in the PSN Store during the next month to add them to your game collection.

Hmm. As a European Vita owner, I'm not really that impressed. I already have Hotline Miami on my laptop, and sports/racing games don't interest me.
Oh well.

They seriously need good games on Vita, it has such good potential but I regret buying mine as I only had one good game so far, Gravity Rush

There ARE good games on the Vita. I have Uncharted, Terraria, FFVII through to X, and Borderlands 2, Minecraft and Rogue Legacy are coming.

Tearaway's awesome as well, if you're into that sort of thing!

There isn't anything wrong with having ports. If the game is good, who cares? Elitists. And I'm no elitist.
