Mad Max has been the international game of mystery since its announcement at E3 2013, but a new gameplay trailer has exploded into view to showcase Avalanche Studios and Warner Bros’ latest.

The Just Cause 2 developer knows a thing or two about the over the top vehicular combat, so expect nothing less than total absurdity from Mad Max…

Set to launch in 2015, Mad Max will be open-world post-apocalyptic vehicular mayhem, where human stragglers live and die by their ability to drive. Max’s iconic Interceptor car has been stolen, and when Max gets angry, he gets Mad. There’ll be a combination of vehicular and vicious on-ground combat, which the Mad One must master to take down roving gangs of bandits.

I also can’t help but notice that Max has a mate called Chumbucket, which I don’t know what to make of. He’s supposedly gifted, but not gifted enough to change his terrible name, he sounds like something I'd see behind the counter at a pet shop.

At the moment it’s reminding me a lot of Motorstorm, with gurt big guns. Ignore the trailer’s branding, Mad Max will be coming in 2015 for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

What do you think of the new Mad Max trailer then?

From the trailer it seems it lacks the 80s feel Mad Max definitely needs. If someone i would like to see this game from the guys who made FC Blood Dragon it had the 80s vibe maybe better than damn vice city :D
