Ubisoft has release a stunning new trailer of its upcoming puzzle adventure game Valiant Hearts: The Great War.
I’ll hold my hands up and admit that this one has flown under my radar since getting announced in September of last year, but this adventure from Beyond Good & Evil developer Ubisoft Montpellier is certainly looking the part. Inspired by real letters written during The Great War, Valiant Hearts pits you as four different characters whose destinies become entwined, helping each other to fend off the horrors of war.
The UbiArt engine has of course cropped up a few times over the past year, with Ubisoft claiming that its engine allows concept art to be inserted directly into the game world unedited, in the manner of a moving painting. Whatever technical doodads are going on under the hood it’s looking great, and you can see the results for yourself in the brand new trailer…
As you can see it’s got a lovely pet dog in it, so animal lovers pack your hankies and prepare for some gushing.
Valiant Hearts is out June 25th for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, priced at £12, or $15 for you lot Stateside.
