I guess it’s a case of better late than never, but an an eagle-eyed sleuth over on the NeoGAF forums noticed that Microsoft’s Compatibility Center now contains a listing for Red Dead Redemption.
Reportedly compatible with Windows 8.1, 8, and 7, the Western-themed Red Dead Redemption is considered by many to be Rockstar’s magnum opus…
NeoGAF users Lazaro was responsible for the findings, finding the recent addition to Microsoft’s Windows Compatibility database that is maintained and checked frequently by Microsoft.
Many PC gamers had understandably given up hope of ever seeing Red Dead Redemption make its way off consoles, nearly four years after its original release. Pitching the player as former outlaw John Marston, Red Dead Redemption is an epic tale of jail breaks, shootouts, train robberies, lassoing and horse-riding, set against the stunning backdrop of the West and Mexico.
Would you welcome a port of Red Dead Redemption on PC?
Or has Rockstar taken too long for it to have any relevance?
