After causing such a huge fanfare at last year’s E3 Tom Clancy’s The Division has somewhat slipped under the radar this year, beneath the hype a deluge of brand new titles inevitably brings.
Never fear though because it got outings in both the Ubisoft and Microsoft press conferences, with a pair of new trailers detailing the story and gameplay respectively…
Ubisoft’s aiming for that strange little thing we occasionally feel niggling away at ourselves called ‘emotion’ in the official The Division E3 2014 cinematic trailer. It depicts the fall of society and the chaos that ensues following the spread of a destructive man-made virus. Bring your tissues you soppy lot...
Next up is some co-op action. The dilapidated streets of Manhattan are your plaything, as a group of three players battle a huge squad of enemies. The Division was recently delayed to a 2015 release, with one developer even claiming that a 2016 launch may be likely.
