Innovation is the name of the game at E3 2014, and whilst it's always nice to see sequels and new iterations of amazing IPs, new IPs are what keeps E3 feeling fresh and relevant.

But before we decide which new IP we think deserves to be crowned the most exciting of the expo, we want to know what the GD community thinks. So don't forget to take a minute and let us know your favourite unreleased IP from this year's E3...

Scalebound - Scalebound looks like someone watched Game Of Thrones too much and realized chilling out with dragons looks really, really cool. And we don’t mean that in a bad way. We’ve only seen one cinematic trailer for the game so far, but it’s coming from Metal Gear Rising and Bayonetta veterans Platinum Games, which is enough in itself to hype us.

Bloodborne - The latest title from Dark Souls creator From Software, Bloodborne is a dark and sadistic open-world action adventure that’s sure to be tough as nails. Armed with a shotgun in one hand and a meat cleaver/saw combo in the other, this is sure to be a bloody outing from the hardcore studio.

The Order: 1886 - While The Order:1886 got a cinematic trailer at last year’s E3, this time we got a decent look at some actual gameplay. Set in London during the late 19th-century (obviously), The Order: 1886 is loaded with mustaches, steampunk weaponry and enough werewolves to shake a stick at.

Sunset Overdrive - This is undoubtedly Microsoft’s great big hope for the holiday season and it’s easy to see why. Seldom do we see a AAA game arrive with a colour palette that doesn’t look the remnants from a muddy puddle but Sunset Overdrive is it. Eye-catching, fast-paced, and with a firm nod to Tony Hawk, this is Insomniac back to their best. Sony must be ruing the day they let this one slip.

Evolve - We’ve seen enough of Evolve over the past few months to last a lifetime but this was actually its E3 debut. We know by now that this looks to play a cracking game of multiplayer action, pitting teams of four against a solo monster in asymmetrical multiplayer. Roll on October.

The Crew - Another one that feels as if it’s been around donkey’s years, The Crew finally got given a concrete release date alongside an impressive showing during Ubisoft’s E3 2014 conference. Taking in the entirety of the states, albeit on a miniaturised scale, this is a coast to coast racer with lofty ambitions.

Destiny - This shooter from former Halo devs Bungie has been hyped since pretty much the second it was unveiled. It seems to have been floating around for some time now, but with a release coming imminently, this is one exciting new IP to look forward to.

No Man’s Sky - No Man's Sky is a science-fiction game about exploration and survival in an infinite procedurally generated universe, which sounded awesome from day one. Having seen some new footage at this year’s E3, we can say it definitely looks awesome too, albeit incredibly trippy.

Dawngate - This MOBA title from EA is jumping on the ever speeding MOBA train, apparently setting itself apart with an “epic story arc” that sets itself apart from the likes of DotA 2 and League Of Legends.

Splatoon - This curious Wii U 4x4 multiplayer shoot ‘em up has you morphing between squid and human as you try and cover as much of the multiplayer map with your team’s colour as possible. Imagine Team Fortress 2 with paint cannons.

Ori And The Blind Forest - Born out of nostalgia, game director Thomas Mahler said he "grew up playing Super Metroid and I want games like that again", creating a beautiful title with a gameplay-centric philosophy behind it.
