CD Projekt RED staff trekked all their stuff to San Diego Comic-Con earlier this month to show off the latest footage of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to an eager public. What they weren’t prepared for was for some of their equipment to be damaged on the flight over, leaving their 30-minute demonstration completely silent.

To make light of a potentially embarrassing situation, the CD Projekt RED developers and Doug ‘Geralt’ Cockle stepped up to plate to perform live impromptu voiceovers for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt live demo.

You can see Cockle’s freestyle work in the video below, projecting the gruff tones of Geralt to a bemused San Diego Comic-Con audience.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out on February 24th 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
