Tera is a PC only MMORPG that promises "true action combat" and that the player will "be fighting big-ass monsters within minutes...". Now you cant say fairer than that. Although if you are not sure what "true action combat" is then check out this news item as we have a trailer explaining it.

Tera will use a a monthly subscription model. With only days to go lets take a look at the Tera Online System Requirements to see what sort of computer this rather pretty MMORPG requires from us...

TERA will be playable on any gaming computer assembled in the last four years.

Tera Online Recommended System Requirements

OS: Windows XP (32 bit only), Windows Vista, or Windows 7 (latest service pack)

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ or Intel Core2 Duo E6750 2.66G

RAM: 2 GB or greater

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 3870 or Geforce 8800GT

HDD: 50 GB of hard drive space (25 GB to download, 25 GB to unpack)

DX: DirectX 9.0c

OTHER: Internet Connection

*Additional disc space can help improve performance, disc space used by installer and game client does not increase.

So in conclusion, a very pretty game with respectable system requirements. But check out the size of that required hard disk space. I certainly dont have that spare. How do you guys feel about games needing 50GB free disk space?

25Gb... at least that's what the game occupied on my hdd. It downloads the files and then installs them, it has a downloader, doesn't take 50Gb.
My 320 Gb hdd is more then enough for my needs normally. What do you guys fill you hdd's with?! :P

50GB :O I say it again if someone didn't hear it, 50GB! That's 17% of my D-partition :D This is really getting out of hand... And I'm not even going to count how much time it would take for me to download this :S

And what if we download it, unpack it then delete the downloaded data :D so we will only require 25GB after everything :D ( But it's just a tought! :S )
