Blizzard Entertainment has announced that it is working on adding over 100 new cards to popular CCG and e-Sport Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. The game’s lead designer Eric Dodds said the Heathstone team is being careful in considering balance when introducing this large swathe of new cards, so it seems it might be a while before they’re released into the wild.

The new booster pack, Dodds said, would be introduced in a different way to the last big DLC in the form of the single-player Curse of Naxxramas, which unlocked a set of 30 new cards in five weeks for those who completed the necessary challenges.

"We don't want to create this large number of cards and overwhelm players, but at the same time, with this new expansion, we want to provide a large number of cards with additional options for the hardcore.” he said. He went on to say that they would not be going into details about the new cards at this stage, partly because they were still being worked on and in part because they would be discussed at a later date.

Chances are we might hear more about this influx of new cards at this year’s BlizzCon, which will take place once again in Anaheim, California, on the 7th and 8th November. Those unwilling to trek halfway across the globe to check out the conference can watch everything live and in HD on the web … for a fairly large fee. You’ll have to purchase a virtual ticket, which costs a pretty hefty $39.99. To sweeten the bitter pill of being charged forty dollars to watch online, fans will get commemorative in-game goodies for WoW, StarCraft II, Diablo III, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storn. Are you excited for a suite of new cards in Hearthstone? Are you enough of a Blizzard nut to watch BlizzCon online? Let us know what you think.

To be honest for me is full of crap, seems more like a yu-gi-oh game but wow version with nothing new. And the solo experience with the wings of naxxaramas was really not what i was expecting with heroic mode so diff.beyond any logic with just bare luck you could get the right card to win. Most likely you leave this comment just because is 'FtP'.-.-
