The minimum requirements to entry for Alien: Isolation aren't too bad. You'll need a relatively recent PC but nothing here is particularly eye-catching or demanding. Most PCs bought within the last five years should match up to these requirements, but if you're in need of a graphics card upgrade to at least a GeForce GT 430 or an AMD Radeon HD 5550 then this is only going to set you back a little more than the cost of the game itself. The 35GB download seems a little large but this looks to quickly become a standard over the last year or so.
Checking out the recommended requirements for Alien: Isolation is a whole different story though. You're going to need a bit of a beast of a PC for Alien: Isolation to look its absolute best. In addition to the 8GB RAM you're going to need a pretty hefty graphics card. The Creative Assembly recommend a GeForce GTX 660 or the relatively new Radeon R9 270, so you'll need a pretty up to date rig for Alien: Isolation. Whatever the case with the GPU, you'll need to make sure it's got 2GB of VRAM to pump out these visuals. The processor might be another sticking point for some; both the Core 2 Quad Q9650 and the Phenom II X4 955 are no slouches despite their age so be sure to check out our Alien: Isolation game page to compare your system.
Remember, you can always check out how well your PC can run the Alien: Isolation System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users. Compare your graphics card to the Alien: Isolation GPU benchmark chart.

They sayed that you have 1 life and u can complete the game without killing aliens if so i'll try it and make a vid of it :D
PC Specs
Wow, recommend is surprisingly low, imo...
PC Specs
not really. this is just more sensible :)
PC Specs
i think that someone took some notes and pointers from ACM.... how NOT TO F...UP A GOOD GAME...hope it delivers! :)
PC Specs
the wait is killing me, be fast october the 3rd.
PC Specs
goddamn it i thougt this was Shadow of Mordor page -.-
PC Specs
I was worried about my rig, however i am completely satisfied and calm now. :-D
PC Specs
well, this time we dont have any of the i7/8320 and gtx680/7970. so this seems a bit tame :) FINALLY! some devs have the sense to set it properly at least
PC Specs
This game better look good with those recommended requirements.
PC Specs
Better be good.
PC Specs
I really, really, really (keep going for 300 really's) want this game to be good, I mean REALLY.
PC Specs
Prepare to be scared out of your boots :)
PC Specs
Those aren't terribly bad requirements. I'm really excited for this game. I think this is the Alien game the fans have been waiting for.
PC Specs
i hate how everything is going dx11 only
PC Specs
well, next time will be dx11 and dx12...and then dx12 only...i know how it feels...i have it.
PC Specs
Progress is good. We'd still be playing text adventures if we never moved forward, looking forward to DX12.
PC Specs
sure...but not for me anymore. :)
PC Specs
haha...thanks for -1....."not for me anymore" i mean... "i'm not playing games anymore"
PC Specs
If you are worry about this gtx660 and r9 270 then don't. I have around 80-90 fps in Ultra 1080p with 2xSMAA (max AA) so it will be perfectly playable even on lower rig. Also, the game looks like the same as in trailers/gameplays

I seriously cant wait for this game, looks good, hope they wont downgrade it like they did with colonial marines
PC Specs
"They"? This game isn't made by the same developer who made Aliens Colonial Marines..
PC Specs
True, SEGA was just the publisher; Gearbox "supposedly" developed ACM (majority of ACM was outsourced to Timegate Studios). And now Gearbox and SEGA are in the middle of a lawsuit.

I would love if the alien can take the same path you can to follow you. So you might think that a overhead pipe might be a safe place to get past an area but the alien can use it too and when you turn around he is right behind you.
PC Specs
Um, No... I think It'd better be better if he adapts eventually, i.e., You think an overhead pipe is a safe place, but It's your first time there, the alien doesn't know, then when he hears you etc., he knows about the place, and eventually as the game progresses, he gets more intelligent, able to figure out places by himself etc. What do you think?
PC Specs
i agree with you but why would you want to go to the same place twice
PC Specs
Its not about places but your reaction to Alien himself. When you throw your first Molotov he will run away but further exploiting this technique will not work because Alien will learn that Molotov cannot hurt him and he go after you anyway
PC Specs
Yeah adaptive AI would be awesome too.
PC Specs
Exactly what I mean! Thanks @Yaceek for helping :D
PC Specs
that's pretty descent requirements :D
