A Full HD 1080p video of Dragon: Inquisition has emerged, showcasing what BioWare’s upcoming RPG sequel looks like when running on PC at Ultra settings. Youtuber ‘rechyyyy’ went to play an early build of Dragon Age: Inquisition at EA HQ, and the next-generation role playing game is looking mighty fine with all its graphical goodies cranked right up.

The footage is a direct capture from the PB build at max settings, and despite Youtube’s pretty poor compression and the 30FPS cap it’s easy to see Dragon Age: Inquisition is going to be quite the looker when it arrives in November.

Nearly nine minutes of footage are shown in the walkthrough, which includes a run through the overgrown and forested Nettle Pass on a mission to the Veridium Mine; look out for some gravity-defying boxes at 1:26 though… The landscapes themselves look hugely varied and begging for the sort of proper exploration and discovery that Dragon Age 2 was lacking.

There’s still no word on what sort of gaming PC you’ll need to have Dragon Age: Inquisition looking this good, but rest assured we’ll bring you the first details as soon as they emerge. Owing to its use of the same Frostbite 3 engine that powered Battlefield 4 though, we expect it to be in the same sort of ballpark as DICE's shooter, although the addition of the SpeedTree foliage middleware could prove demanding when the Dragon Age: Inquisition graphics settings are pushed to the max in forested areas like the one below.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is out on November 18th in the States and November 21st in Europe, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. What do you think of Dragon Age: Inquisition’s pretty stunning graphics? Itching to get exploring this vast world in November? Let us know!

Im probably the only one who prefers the combat system from DA 2. I just like beein in controll of the action instead of just watching it and pressing a from time to time like in DA1...?

Guys... this video is terrible and laggy. Shame on him. I 'll wait a few days to see how this game really looks like.

Does the lack of battle and music bother just me? And those were nine minutes of walking around with no party banter. I am hoping that was intentionally done not to spoil anything.

The game looks nice, but how will it be optimized? ;) It's nice to see good graphics like in Assassin's Creed Unity, but the optimization and system requirements are the big question.

Not impressive, graphics wise. I mean even Far cry 3 had better graphics. I'm not a fan of hack and slash games. Can somebody please tell my why people love them so much? I tried Shadows of Mordor, and it was really boring.

H'nS is a pretty polarizing genre alright. That said, being a Bioware game, DA is more about adventure and choices, I'd like to think. Some like this approach; others just wish they'd make actual interactive movies instead.

I also hope they put much more focus on other things other than hack and slash. I mean that stuff can get pretty repetitive. Did you try to count how many times Varric did that that back-flip attack?Ya that can only be amusing for so long

I believe DA:I isn't a hack'n'slash game. It may looked like it, but it's the combination between the tactical combat like in DA:O and the fast paced in DA2. Beside, what drives people to play Dragon Age series isn't the combat, but the story and choices like JukseGD said.

I would call Alien: Isolation next-gen, not this. The graphics look really good on arid terrains, but this forest doesn't look that good, really.

Yeah I think they're going for more large-scale though and a sense of adventure. Alien Isolation is almost perfect at what it does though, properly nails the vibe and look of the first film.

DA:I works on frostbite 3, I played BF4 on ultra no AA and it was very playable...and maybe mantle will work even better that dx...my worries lie with TW3.Oh I wish I lived in another country where money are easier to come by :( All I want is steady 60+fps and high+settings...is that too much ? :))

Never played MGS games except for Rising Revengeance, and it was a very good game, I liked the story and the combat very much :D
