Start ironing your suit because Football Manager 2015 is arriving soon, and Sports Interactive's latest footie management sim promises to be more in-depth than ever before. Whether you're taking Weymouth FC up from the little leagues or stepping up to the plate in the Champion's League final as Real Madrid, every minute detail can be tweaked and tailored to ensure your managerial success or inevitable demise.

New to this year's edition is a new-found focus on different managerial styles, more than 2000 new motion captured animations to bringing the 3D match engine to life like never before, a new and improved user interface, and a deeper media experience. Oh, and don't forget those all important roster updates, it's what we've all been waiting for. Before you put your tie on though, you'll need to make sure your PC is more Arsene Wenger than David Moyes, so read on to check out the Football Manager 2015 system requirements.

Football Manager 2015 Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows XP 32-bit Service Pack 3
  • CPU: Intel Pentium 4 1.6 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 2000+ 1.6 GHz
  • RAM: 1GB System Memory
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce FX 5900 Ultra or AMD Radeon 9800 Pro
  • DX: DirectX 9.0c
  • HDD: 3GB Free Hard Drive Space

Football Manager Predicted Recommended System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 32-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 2.0 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.2 GHz
  • RAM: 2 GB System Memory
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 340 or AMD Radeon X1900 GT

Sports Interactive has achieved the impossible and actually lowered the minimum Football Manager 2015 system requirements from those seen in last year's edition. If you managed to play Football Manager 2014 without a hitch then stop reading, because you're good to go for the FM 2015 edition. As usual for the series, FM 2015 has extremely low minimum system requirements owing to the usually simplistic nature of its visuals and the option of a 2D match engine. Almost any PC in this day and age should be capable of running Football Manager 2015, while most integrated graphics solutions should more than suffice.

Unfortunately Sports Interactive didn't go so far as to include some recommended requirements for FM2015, but based on the performance of last year's edition we've provided some estimates. If you want to have the 3D sports engine looking its basic but functional best you'll need a slightly more modern processor and graphics card, but nothing here should be a problem to most. In addition, if you're intending on simulating a lot of leagues then some additional RAM is useful to avoid some potentially long loading times while it simulates all of the events around the world. If you really want to push it and simulate dozens upon dozens of leagues then you may even want a more powerful PC when it comes RAM and CPU than the recommended system requirements for Football Manager 2015 to get the optimal performance.

Remember, you can always check out how well your PC can run the Football Manager 2015 System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users. Compare your graphics card to the Football Manager 2015 GPU benchmark chart. What do you think of these requirements? Does This War of Mine's unique premise tempt you to pick it up? Let us know!
