Amid rumors swirling of a premium service for Battlefield 3, somewhat in the same vein of Call of Duty Elite, a major leak has popped out.
According to the leaked document the service will simply be called Battlefield 3 Premium and will include a compilation of BF3 expansion packs and unique items. Lets take a look at the details...
Battlefield 3 Premium will include the following content
5 Themed expansion packs
Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand
Battlefield 3: Close Quarters
Battlefield 3: Armored Kill
Battlefield 3: Aftermath
Battlefield 3: End Game
The Battlefield 3 expansion packs combine to include 20 maps, 20 new weapons, 10+ new vehciles, 4 new game modes, 30+ Assignments and 20+ dog tags.
2 weeks early access to all future Battlefield 3 expansion packs
Unique in-game knife
Unique in-game dogtags
10+ unique soldier camos
Unique weapon camos
Stats reset feature
10+ unique Platoon emblem decals
Increased Platoon emblem layers
Server queue priority

5+ unique Assignments
Exclusive events
Exclusive Double XP weekends
Exclusive videos
Strategy guides
Additional bonus content
This will all be available for a one time payment of either $49.99 USD, €49.99 or 4,000 Microsoft Points for Xbox players.
Do you think this is a good deal? Would you pay another $49.99 for this content? Given that the Close Quarters and subsequent DLC are expected to be priced at $14.99 each, it might be a wise investment if you plan on getting all the expansion packs. Another interesting note is the unannounced expansion pack Battlefield 3: Aftermath. All the other packs had been previously announced along with their specific theme.
EA is expected to release Battlefield Premium to the public on June 4th so hopefully many questions will be answered then.

Yet another thing to make money... I am seriously pissed off at EA right now, they're making the same thing as Activision did with CoD, Premium.. pffffft :(
PC Specs
I don't have Battlefield 3 yet and the standalone game costs about 50 euros here. Gonna' wait 'till 4th and maybe buy all 6 for the price of one.
PC Specs
This premium service does not include the actual game, only the expansion packs.
PC Specs
Still, it's cheaper for who didn't buy them yet.
PC Specs
its a shame the battlefield is going this way but i will most probably go for it.
PC Specs
So it is true. Dammit! I'm all out of cash so gonna let dis slide.......for now. A shame indeed!

And now I remember how awesome BFBC2's expansion - Vietnam was. This is a total rip-off to me. Now, I'd rather spend dat much amount on a new freaking game.(now I know y people hate EA soon much!)
PC Specs
Me too, I personally hate these 'Premium', 'Ultra', 'BFG', 'TeroMarsu' and other 'special' editions but hey, it's BF3 so it's a must-buy :D
PC Specs
if it wasnt bf3 i wouldnt even look at it. but im too weak to say no to expnasions for bf3
PC Specs
Curse you Dice, you have us all hooked! :D
PC Specs
I think this is just marketed poorly. If this was called an expansion pack bundle nobody would care and probably think it was a nice thing of EA to do.
PC Specs
An expansion pack worth 50$? No thanks.
PC Specs
The mother of all expansion packs :D
PC Specs
If you buy each of those expansion packs separately it would be 5 x 14.99= basically 75. 60 if you already have B2K
PC Specs
Im sure not 'everybody' wud want to get all DLCs. Like me, ive selected a few. Others? from d bargain bin later on :)
